Fredene started selling real estate in 1982, although she’s been around the real estate business her entire life.

Four generations of Plouffe’s have made real estate their career choice, beginning with Fredene’s paternal grandfather and carrying on through Fredene’s father, six siblings, niece Leigh Anne and nephew Joel.

Fredene has lived in Burlington her entire life with the exception of her university career at the University of Waterloo where she earned a degree in Political Science/Legal Studies. It didn’t take long before Fredene was attracted to and immersed in ‘the family business’ - selling real estate. In a natural career progression, Fredene added Brokers License to her other credentials in 1993 and soon after started her own company, Whitehouse & Whitehouse Realty Inc. with her husband, Art.
